This is an area inside Tokyo German Village where you can interact with small animals. It centres on creatures children can approach without fear, such as goats and guinea pigs, so it suits a first animal experience. Some children are so surprised by the sensation in their palm when they offer food that they let out a shout. The grounds are hilly and involve a lot of walking, so touring the animal area first thing in the morning while everyone is fresh makes the rest of the itinerary easier. Because it sits on open ground at the top of a hill, the breeze comes through and it stays relatively comfortable even outdoors.
