This is a wide lawn area of gently rolling ground at the heart of Tokyo German Village. Sledding down the slope is the park's signature attraction, letting you enjoy the thrill of sliding even without snow. Climbing the hill and sliding down over and over naturally uses up all of a child's energy. There are no tall buildings around, so the view is open and it is easy to keep an eye on children as they run about, another welcome point for parents. Working up a good sweat before the afternoon water play makes the coolness of the stream feel many times better.

東京ドイツ村の園内を流れる水遊び場「東京ドイツ村せせらぎ」です。地下水を利用した全長約85mの小川で、芝生広場のすぐそばを流れているため、遊んでは休み、休んではまた遊ぶという行き来がしやすいのが大きな利点。プールのように区切られていないので、流れをたどって歩く、水をせき止める、葉を流すなど、子どもが自分で遊び方を見つけられます。丘の上の開けた場所を流れているぶん風が通り、水から上がったあとも心地よく過ごせます。入園には料金が必要で、2026年の開設期間は未発表、例年は夏休み期間に水が流れます。

開設期間が未発表のため、出かける前に公式サイトで当日の通水状況を確認してください。入園料と駐車料金は変わることがあるので、最新の金額も同時に確認しましょう。川底や石は滑りやすいので、素足ではなくマリンシューズやサンダルが安心です。日陰は限られるためレジャーシートと帽子を用意し、こまめに水分をとってください。おむつが取れていない子は水遊び用おむつを使いましょう。
