This is the Iroha Shinsui Park Water Park (water play) at Iroha Park in the left-bank zone of Iroha Shinsui Park in Shiki City. In 2026 it is open from Monday 13 July to Sunday 13 September, from 10:00 to 16:30. Its great feature is that equipment normally used as a combination play structure turns into a water park with jets of water for the summer only, letting you enjoy both play equipment and water play at once. Admission is free and the park's toilets are available. The park spreads along the waterside where the Shingashi River (新河岸川) and the Yanase River (柳瀬川) merge, so the surrounding scenery is refreshing and adults can keep watch from the shade. The fact that it is open across almost the whole of the summer holidays also makes it easy to plan around.

Tips

It is closed all day on Saturday 18 and Sunday 19 July for the Shikishima Shrine festival. Plan around those two days. It is suspended or cancelled when thunder is heard, so in this season of frequent evening showers keep an eye on the sky and check the official notices for the day's status. No changing rooms are listed, so bringing something to throw on over a swimsuit makes things smoother. After water play, wash feet thoroughly at the tap, and take breaks in the shade as you play.
