About this spot

A shrine in Togasaki, Misato City, long cherished by the local community. It sits within a settlement on low ground near the Edogawa River, and the moment you step into the precinct the air changes, cool and surrounded by trees. Walking here while teaching children how to use the purification basin and how to pray makes it a memorable stop even in a short time. It is not showy, but visiting a local shrine like this before heading off to play gives you the real sense of having come to this place. A visit alone takes about 30 minutes, so it fits easily into a morning schedule.

三郷市の県営みさと公園にある「みさと公園水遊びコーナー」です。2026年は6月20日(土)から8月30日(日)までの土日祝のみ、12:00〜14:00の2時間だけ開かれます。雨天中止で、渇水時等も休止になります。利用は無料ですが、更衣室はなく、ペットの同伴もできません。開いている時間が短いぶん、12時の開始に合わせて到着しておくと2時間をまるごと使いきれます。水元公園を望む水辺に広がる大きな県営公園なので、遊び終えたあとに園内を散歩して帰る流れも気持ちのよいものです。

Tips

土日祝のみの開催で、平日は開いていません。日程を間違えないよう注意してください。雨天中止・渇水時休止のため、出かける前に公園の公式サイトで当日の実施を確認しましょう。更衣室がないので、水着は服の下に着ていくのが確実です。ペットは同伴できません。14時終了なので、13時40分ごろから片づけを始めると余裕を持って帰れます。

Tips

The precinct has gravel paths, so there are places where a stroller is hard to push. A baby carrier will make moving around easier. It can be crowded on festival days. There is plenty of shade, making it a comfortable morning stop even on hot days.
