Gojo Central Park Water Play Plaza (五條中央公園親水広場) is a free water play area which, according to the official information from Gojo City, operates from May 1, 2026 (Reiwa 8) through the end of September, from 10:00 to 16:00. Four kinds of fountain displays are on offer, and every time the spray pattern changes, children run around cheering. It uses an automatic filtration and chlorination system, which gives peace of mind when letting small children play, and is one of the plaza features. Within the same park there is the Fuwafuwa Dome, a large trampoline available from 9:30 to 16:00, which makes a perfect companion as a place to play after getting out of the water. There is also an adventure playground and a multipurpose ground, and the cherry and plum trees change the scenery with each season. Admission is free, so you can also simply drop in for a short while.

Tips

The water play plaza, the Fuwafuwa Dome, and the park office are closed every Wednesday (the following day if it is a public holiday) and over the New Year period. Operations may also be suspended depending on the weather, so check the official Gojo City information before setting out. Closing is at 16:00, so allowing time to change and getting out of the water around 15:30 makes for a calm departure. The surface of the Fuwafuwa Dome can get hot in the sun, so wiping your feet after water play before using it is a safe approach. Children who are not yet toilet trained should have swim diapers.
