Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park (生駒山上遊園地) PLAY PEAK ITADAKI Adventure Lake is the area within a play space supervised by BorneLund at an altitude of 642 m, where children can enjoy water play and sand play at the same time in shallows modeled on a lake. There are also ways to play without getting in the water, such as boarding the exploration boat floating on the lake or riding the circuit vehicles, so siblings with different tastes are covered. The opening of a water gun corner was announced for 31 July 2026, widening the range of play further. The same grounds hold Sky Walk Hill, Swing Valley, Toddler Garden and the indoor Mountain Hut, so there is no shortage of refuge when the sun is strong or light rain falls. Admission is 600 yen for age 1, 1,500 yen for ages 2 through elementary school as well as junior high school students and above, 600 yen for accompanying guardians and free for under 1, with unlimited play for the day and free entry and re-entry on the same day. Being up on the mountain, the breeze is cooler than at the foot, so it is less draining even in midsummer, a strength unique to this place.

Tips

The water play period has not been announced; in past years it has been in summer. The PLAY PEAK ITADAKI season runs from Saturday 7 March 2026 to Sunday 6 December 2026, but it opens only on weekends, public holidays and some weekdays, with weekdays basically closed and reserved for school groups. Be sure to check the opening days before you set out. Playful Canal on the Open Sky Deck is suspended for safety checks. Entry and re-entry are free, so you can decide on the day, depending on the crowds, whether to bring lunch and spread it out outdoors or to step out and eat. The breeze at the summit is cool and staying wet will chill the body, so bring a layer to put on and plenty of spare clothes.
