This is the city's comprehensive sports park, located in Minamisakai, Ishinomaki City. Besides its competition facilities it has wide garden paths and green space, so on days with no events it works as a place for a stroll or light exercise. There are few tall buildings around and the sky feels open, so even just walking here in the morning refreshes your mood. To avoid using up all your energy before the afternoon water play, keep the running short and take breaks in the shade. Nozomino Central Park is only a short drive away, so travel takes almost no time.

Tips

On days when tournaments or events are held, the parking lot gets crowded and some areas may be off limits. Checking the event schedule before you go is reassuring. Shade is limited, so be sure to bring a hat and drinks. Locating the restrooms when you arrive makes everything afterwards easier.
