About this spot

This facility on the coast of Nyuzen Town makes use of deep sea water drawn up from the depths of Toyama Bay. You can learn how the cold and stable deep water is taken in and what it is used for. Being right by the sea, a breeze passes through and it is comfortable to walk even in summer. Coming here after seeing the spring water at Sugisawa no Sawa-sugi in the morning makes you realize that this one town has both water from the mountains and water from the sea. It is an essential stop when building a day themed around water.

「入善町中央公園親水広場」は、入善町の入善町中央公園にある無料の水遊び場です。入善町公式には「水があふれる町をイメージし、湧水の流れる川を表現した、小さな子どもたちが直接水に触れて遊べる施設」と記されており、黒部川扇状地の湧水の町という土地柄がそのまま形になっています。流れをたどりながら水に手足をひたせる造りなので、深いところが苦手な子でも自分のペースで遊べます。開設期間は未発表で、例年は春から秋にかけて楽しめますが、町公式に期間の記載はありません。同じ園内にはふわふわドーム(9:00〜17:00)があり、陸上競技場、野球場、総合体育館も並ぶ広い公園なので、水に飽きたら別の遊びへ移れます。利用は無料なので、短時間だけ立ち寄る使い方もできます。

Tips

開設期間の記載がないため、訪れる前に入善町へ確認するか、公園の掲示で当日の状況を確かめてください。石を組んだ流れは滑りやすいので、マリンシューズなど足を守れる履き物を用意しましょう。着替えの場所は限られるため、タオルポンチョがあると手早く済みます。30分に一度は水から上がって水分を取り、木陰で休憩をはさみながら遊ぶと熱中症を防げます。おむつが取れていない子は水遊び用おむつを準備してください。

Tips

Check with the facility in advance about what can be viewed, the hours, and whether guidance is available. There is little shade along the coast, so do not forget a hat and drinks. If deep sea water is available for purchase, an insulated bag is handy. It is a short drive from here to the central park.
