About this spot

A roadside station in Ajisu, Yamaguchi City, where local farm produce and seafood come together. In the morning the summer vegetables and fruit that have just been laid out look wonderfully fresh, and simply walking around is a fun time for children. You can also get food to take away such as bento boxes, bread and rice balls, so securing lunch for the park in advance makes the afternoon much easier. It is well equipped as a driving rest stop, so there is little worry about toilets or diaper changes. Yamaguchi Kirara Expo Memorial Park is only a short drive away.

山口市阿知須の山口きらら博記念公園に2026年新しくつくられた「山口きらら博記念公園きららんど親水広場」です。2026年7月27日(月)にオープンし、9月27日(日)まで10:00〜18:00に利用できます(来年度は4月下旬からの利用を予定)。約2,800平方メートルの広さに、水深約5cmのじゃぶじゃぶ池と、アーチ噴水4か所・ミスト噴水6か所・樹氷噴水7か所という多彩な水の仕掛けが並びます。水深が浅いので歩きはじめの子でも安心して入れ、噴水の種類が多いぶん飽きずに長く遊べるのが新しい広場の魅力です。休憩施設やベンチが整い、隣は大型複合遊具広場「きららんど」。公園の入園も広場の利用も無料です。

Tips

裸足やおむつのままで噴水に入ることはできません。マリンシューズなどの履物を必ず用意してください。噴水の水は殺菌した循環水なので飲めません。飲み物は別に持参を。ペットの持ち込みはできません。オープンしたばかりで人が集まりやすいため、駐車場は早めの確保が安心です。遊んだあとは体を拭いて着替え、休憩施設で涼んでから帰ると疲れが残りにくくなります。
