The Yuda Onsen Konkon Park Fountain Plaza sits in the outdoor area of an exchange-hub facility in Yamaguchi City that opened on June 1, 2025. Because the fountains are mist-like, you can enjoy just the right amount of water play without getting soaked, which lightens the burden of changing clothes and is welcome news for families with small children. Next to it spreads a lawn area with a large play structure themed on the white fox, so children can go back and forth between water and play equipment and stay a long while. There is a free footbath too, so when they tire out you can rest in a way only Yuda Onsen offers. The second-floor deck has a play area, a drawing area and an outdoor dining area, so you are never short of places for strong sunlight or for taking a break. Use is free.

Tips

The outdoor fountain plaza is open at all times, but the operating period and hours of the fountains are not published. Please check with the facility (083-922-8009) before you go. At the facility parking lot the first hour from entry is free, with 100 yen per hour after that. Even though it is only mist, hair and clothes do get damp, so having a towel and a change of clothes makes it more comfortable. If you plan to use the footbath, do not forget a small towel as well. In the evening the wind can pick up and chill you, so one extra layer to throw on is reassuring.
