The nanaho United Park Oshihara (Oshihara Park) Water Plaza is a water-play area with a fountain in a 7.9-hectare park in Showa Town (昭和町). The water runs on weekends and holidays from May to September, 9:00 to 17:00, and use is free. Long loved locally under the former names Oshihara Park and Yume Park Showa, the park bustles with families on days off. The grounds hold a biotope, a lawn plaza, a play-equipment zone, natural and artificial turf grounds and a walking road, so when children tire of the water they can switch to hunting for insects and creatures or playing on the equipment. It stays open for a long stretch from the May holidays through September, which makes it easy to use as an outing destination in early summer or early autumn, avoiding the height of the heat.
