One of the largest shopping malls in Yamanashi Prefecture, located in Showa Town (昭和町), gathering a food court, restaurants and specialty stores. The big advantage is that you can finish lunch before the water play and buy any missing swimsuits, towels, sunscreen and drinks all in one place. Baby rooms and multipurpose restrooms are well equipped, so diaper changes and feeding are no trouble even with a younger child along. The air-conditioned interior is also just right for cooling down between bouts of outdoor play. Oshihara Park is only a few minutes away by car, so you can head for the water play travelling light.

Tips

The parking lot and the food court both get crowded at midday on weekends and holidays, so arriving early, around 11 o'clock, is more comfortable. Anything you forgot can be found here, so morning preparations can be minimal. Letting the hours of strongest sunshine pass here makes the afternoon water play more comfortable.
