Yamanashi Prefectural Fuefukigawa Fruit Park Aqua Athletic is a free water play area with about ten pieces of equipment set along a slope, with water running underfoot. Crossing stepping stones and logs, or following the channel upstream, the greatest appeal is that you play using your body rather than simply soaking in water. Upstream there is a waterfall and a pond where you can cool off to the sound of running water. In 2026 the water flows from April 4 until early November (planned), from 9:30 to 16:00. Showers and changing rooms for elementary school age and under can be used free of charge (from around mid-April to early November), which eases worries about changing clothes. Because it is open from spring through autumn, this park also lets you pick a mild season away from the peak of summer.

The channels on the slope are slippery underfoot, so have children wear firm-soled footwear such as water shoes.
