About this spot

A green, leafy park in the middle of the city that gave the Bairin district of Gifu City its name. It is known as a spot for plum blossoms, but in summer the shade cast by its large trees feels wonderful, making it just right for a morning walk. There are play equipment and open lawns inside, so children who want to move around will be satisfied too. Quiet despite its city-center location, it suits a leisurely family start to the day.

Tips

Entry is free. The morning before the sun gets strong is recommended, and a hat and drinks are essential. The play equipment can get hot in the summer daytime, so check the temperature with your hand before playing. Locating the restrooms first makes everything afterwards easier.

About 50 minutes. Walking while the morning is still cool is comfortable
