Hyakuraku Park Wading Pool (children's pool)

About this spot

This is the Hyakuraku Park Wading Pool (百楽公園 徒渉池), a free water play spot in Hyakuraku Park (百楽公園) in the Aikawa district of Gifu City (加野6丁目25). In 2026 it is open on a total of 23 days between July 21 and August 22, from 13:00 to 16:00. The water is shallow, so even small children who cannot swim yet can get used to the water while walking on their own feet. In principle it is for children in the third grade of elementary school or younger; preschoolers must be accompanied by a guardian, and infants who are not yet out of diapers may not use it. Opening days follow the Gifu City schedule, and in bad weather a red flag is raised and the day is cancelled. Talking about the creatures you saw at the museum in the morning makes the time in the water even richer.
