Noisshiki Park Wading Pool (Children's Pool)

About this spot

This is the free water-play spot known as the wading pool (children's pool) at Noisshiki Park in the Nagamori-kita district of Gifu City (Noisshiki 4-chome 530-1). In 2026 it operates on a total of 22 days between July 18 and August 17, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Since it is usable from the weekend before the summer holidays begin, it is easy to work into plans at the start of summer. The water is shallow, so even small children who cannot swim yet can get used to water while walking on their own feet. It is in principle for children in third grade and younger; preschoolers must be accompanied by a guardian, and infants who are not yet out of diapers cannot use it. Operating days follow the Gifu City schedule, and in bad weather a red flag is raised and the pool is closed.

Tips

Use is free. You can check whether it is running that day by the flag on site (a red flag means it is closed). Wearing swimwear under clothes makes changing smooth. The ground gets hot, so water-play sandals will protect little feet. It closes at 4:00 pm, so start packing up around 3:45 pm.

Best time to visit

Right after it opens at 1:00 pm it is uncrowded and the water is at its cleanest
