The municipal library in central Tajimi City. The children's section is well stocked, with everything from picture books to longer reads. Being able to spend the sunniest hours of the day at a relaxed pace in the air-conditioned building is a huge help on a midsummer outing. True to a pottery town, there are often books on local industry and history, so you can enjoy following up on the Mino ware you saw in the morning. Build this in as time to conserve energy for the afternoon water play.

多治見市の太平公園にある無料の水遊び場「太平公園水の広場・せせらぎ水路」です。2026年は7月17日から9月1日までの予定で、11:00から16:00に水が稼働します。水の広場では最大で約4メートルまで吹き上がる噴水が主役で、勢いよく上がる水柱の下に駆け込むのが小学生に人気の遊び方です。一方、子供広場にはせせらぎ水路と浅い池、やさしい勢いの噴水があり、まだ水に慣れていない小さな子はこちらでゆっくり足元から親しめます。年齢の違うきょうだいがそれぞれのペースで遊べるのが、この公園の使いやすいところ。遊具も設置されているので、水にあきたら遊具に移り、乾いたらまた水へと自由に行き来できます。

Tips

利用は無料です。天候により稼働しない場合があるため、出発前に多治見市の案内で確認してください。稼働は16:00までなので、この時間を目安に片づけを始めましょう。水の広場の噴水は勢いが強いので、小さな子は子供広場側から慣らすと安心です。更衣室は想定せず、水着を服の下に着てから出かけるとスムーズです。足元を守る水遊び用サンダルと、日陰用のレジャーシート、多めの飲み物を用意してください。
