The Taihei Park Water Plaza and Babbling Stream Channel is a free water-play spot in Taihei Park (太平公園) in Tajimi City. In 2026 it is scheduled to run from July 17 to September 1, with the water on from 11:00 to 16:00. In the Water Plaza the star attraction is a fountain that shoots up to about 4 meters, and dashing in under the powerful column of water is the favorite way to play among elementary schoolers. In the children's plaza, meanwhile, there is a babbling stream channel, a shallow pool, and gentler fountains, so children not yet used to water can ease in from their feet up. Being able to let siblings of different ages play at their own pace is what makes this park so easy to use.
