The Water Play Area at Kiyone Furusato Fureai Plaza in Soja City is a waterside of about 2,115 square meters built in the image of the flow of the Takahashi River (高梁川). It has a fountain and shallow pools with no deep spots, so even small children who just splash with their feet in the water can play with peace of mind. There is a swan pond on the same grounds, and going to look at the birds between rounds of water play is fun for children too. Play equipment, tennis courts, a ground golf course and an outdoor cooking area are all here, so even with siblings of different ages or grandparents along, everyone can find their own way to spend the time. Entering the water in ordinary diapers is prohibited, so be sure to bring swim diapers for children who are not yet out of diapers. Throwing stones or sand into the water is also prohibited. Other children could get hurt, so make that promise before they start playing.
