Tokushima Family Land Water Garden is the water play area that the outdoor play space Asoban De! Outdoor turns into for the summer season only. You run around among attractions that shoot out lots of water and take on target practice with the Aqua Blaster water guns, so the play is packed with variety. Sessions last one hour, so the plan is to concentrate and play it out rather than drift along. Changing rooms and showers are fully equipped, so being able to change and feel fresh afterwards is a big advantage that park splash pads do not offer. Swim rings and play items can be brought in as long as they are not large, so giving a small child a familiar swim ring helps them play with confidence. Combine it with the rides at the adjoining amusement park and you can keep spending time on the grounds after the water play.

Tips

The 2026 operating period has not been officially announced (in past years it ran from the summer holidays through around September). Be sure to check the official website before you set out. Note that the dates circulating online, July 8 (Tue) to September 23 (Tue, public holiday), are the 2025 schedule. Hours are 9:30 to 16:30 (ticket sales and attractions from 10:00), closed on Mondays (the following day when Monday is a public holiday). Admission to the park is free; using the Water Garden costs one ticket (350 yen) or a free pass (3,500 yen for unlimited rides for the day, sold only on weekends and public holidays). Parking is 310 yen for ordinary cars, 1,310 yen for large vehicles and free for motorcycles. A swimsuit, towel and change of clothes are needed, and swim diapers are compulsory (sold on site for 350 yen). Bringing in your own food and drink is not allowed; swim rings and play items may be brought in as long as they are not large. It can be used even in the rain.
