Just north of Tsukimigaoka Seaside Park, this is Tokushima's gateway to the sky. The observation deck gives a sweeping view of the runway, and you can watch planes come down right in front of you and lift off again from close range. Feeling the roar and the wind with your whole body makes it a special experience for children who love vehicles. There are shops and restaurants inside the terminal, so picking up drinks and boxed lunches here keeps the rest of the day moving smoothly. Cooling off in the air-conditioned terminal while checking the flight information board for the next departure time is part of the fun.

Tips

Check the flight timetable first and step out onto the deck to match the times planes are due, and you will spend less time waiting. Shade on the deck is limited, so a hat is essential. Parking may be charged, so confirm the fee structure before you park.
