Asutamu Land Tokushima Water Paradise (splash pond) is a free water play area centered on a shallow pond about 15 cm deep. On the floating-stone crossing, three of the five stepping stones sink, and guessing which ones will give way is where the excitement peaks. Duck through the water house, 3.5 m across and 2.5 m tall, sound the water xylophone, and let loose at Rainbow Splash, Bubble Jump and Puka Dome. There is also Water Shooting with hand-pump water guns and Whimsical Water with its spiral fountain nozzles, so there is never a dull moment. A tarzan rope means older elementary-school siblings will not get bored either. Admission and parking are both free, and having all of this at that price is the greatest appeal.

Tips

The 2026 opening period has not been announced (in past years it has been the summer holiday period). Be sure to check the official website for the opening status before you set out. The park is open 9:30 to 17:00 (until 18:00 during Golden Week, July and August), closed every Wednesday (the following day when that Wednesday is a public holiday; the Wednesday within August 12 to 15 is excluded). Dancing Water is under repair. Shallow as it is, never take your eyes off small children, and because the floor around the play equipment is slippery, prepare footwear that will not slip off. Shaded spots fill up from early in the day, so spreading out your picnic sheet early is recommended.
