The core facility of Asutamu Land Tokushima, offering exhibits that let you experience science by moving your body, along with a planetarium. It is the only properly air-conditioned indoor facility in the park, making it ideal for the first half of a sun-drenched afternoon. The planetarium runs on a fixed schedule, so check the screening times as soon as you arrive. Many exhibits invite you to press buttons and turn handles, so even preschoolers can enjoy them fully. Recover your energy here, and then it is finally time to head for the water.

あすたむらんど徳島ウォーターパラダイス(じゃぶじゃぶ池)は、水深約15cmの浅い池を中心にした無料の水遊び場です。5つの飛び石のうち3つが沈む仕掛けの浮き石渡りは、どれが沈むかを当てながら渡るのが盛り上がるポイント。直径3.5m・高さ2.5mの水の家をくぐり、水木琴を鳴らし、レインボースプラッシュやあわジャンプ、プカドームで思い切りはしゃげます。手動ポンプ式水鉄砲のウォーターシューティングや、渦巻き状の噴水ノズルの気まぐれウオーターもあり、飽きる時間がありません。ターザンロープもあるので、小学生の兄姉も退屈しません。入園料・駐車料金とも無料で、この内容というのが最大の魅力です。

2026年の開設期間は未発表です(例年は夏休み期間)。出発前に必ず公式サイトで開設状況を確認してください。公園の開園時間は9:30〜17:00(GW・7月・8月は18:00まで)、休園日は毎週水曜日(祝日の場合は翌日、8/12〜15の水曜日は除く)。ダンシングウオーターは修理中です。浅いとはいえ小さな子から目を離さず、遊具まわりの床は滑りやすいので脱げにくい履物を用意しましょう。木陰のスペースは早い時間から埋まるため、レジャーシートは早めに広げておくのがおすすめです。

Tips

Park admission and parking are free, but the permanent exhibits at the Children Science Museum are paid (adults 510 yen / elementary, junior high and high school students 200 yen). Some planetarium sessions cost extra and have limited seating, so securing tickets when you enter is reassuring. The park is closed every Wednesday (the following day when that Wednesday is a public holiday; the Wednesday within August 12 to 15 is excluded).
