About this spot

The family temple of the Mizuno clan (水野氏), who ruled this area, located in Ogawa (緒川), Higashiura Town. It is known as a temple connected to the man who was Lady Odai's father, and its grounds, ringed by groves, are wrapped in a quiet you would not expect in town. Even in the short time it takes to walk the approach, it is striking how the names you read at the museum start to feel close at hand. This is not a large tourist facility, so quietly putting your hands together and taking a short walk is just the right way to spend the time. It gives the family a calm moment before the afternoon water play.

Venue: 東浦町・於大公園

東浦町の於大公園にある無料の水遊び場、「於大公園ふれあいファミリー広場ふんすいひろば」です。2026年4月18日にオープンしたふれあいファミリー広場の一角にあり、5月1日(金)から9月30日(水)まで10:00〜16:00で利用できます。すぐそばにドーム型の屋根が架かった人工芝の広場と乳幼児向けの遊具があるので、水に飽きたら日陰で遊び、涼しくなったらまた水へ、と行き来できるのがこの場所の強みです。隣接する更衣室を利用できるため、着替えの場所に困らないのも家族連れにはありがたいところ。料金は無料なので、短時間だけ立ち寄る使い方もできます。

Tips

稼働の時期と時間は変更になる可能性があり、雨天や強風のときは自動で停止します。出発前に東浦町の公式サイトで当日の稼働状況を確認してください。16:00までの運用なので、片付けと着替えの時間を逆算して15時半ごろに水から上がると落ち着いて帰れます。水遊び後は体をよく流し、日陰で休憩をはさみながら遊ぶと熱中症を防げます。おむつが取れていない子には水遊び用おむつを用意してください。

Tips

This is a place of worship, so tell children beforehand not to run around. There may be times when the grounds are closed for memorial services and the like. On strongly sunny days, walk in the shade and be sure to bring drinks.
