The ‘Michi-no-Eki Fureai-no-Sato HASU Park Jabujabu Pond’ in Aisai City is a free water-play area inside a roadside station that had its grand opening on April 5, 2026. There's no announced operating period, and hours follow the roadside station's business hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Next door are Wanpaku Plaza and a play equipment plaza, so when kids tire of the water they can move to the play equipment, and when they tire of that, back to the water — this ability to keep playing at their own pace is this spot's strength. There's also a restroom available 24 hours, which is reassuring for families. Since the direct-sales area and eating space are on the same grounds, it's also convenient to quickly buy more drinks or snacks. Since it's free, you can also stop by for just a short while during a longer drive.

Closed on Thursdays and during the New Year holidays. Since it only recently opened, there may be days it's unavailable due to maintenance, so check the official website for that day's status before heading out. The operating period hasn't been announced, so from autumn onward, also check whether it's still running. Since the roadside station closes at 5:00 p.m., work backward from cleanup and changing time and plan to wrap up around 4:30 p.m. for a relaxed departure. After water play, rinse off well and take breaks in the shade to help prevent heatstroke. For children not yet potty-trained, bring swim diapers.
