Sarue Onshi Park (猿江恩賜公園)

About this spot

Sarue Onshi Park was created on land that was once a timber storage yard of the Edo shogunate, and the north garden spreads out with a lawn and groves of trees. Even though it sits in the middle of the city, there is a substantial stretch of greenery, so choosing a shaded spot lets you settle in and lay out a bento. The splash pond is switched off from 12:00 to 13:00, so devoting that hour to eating and resting makes the day flow neatly. The park also has the Mini Magnolia Plaza and Tiara Koto, so even just walking around between breaks offers a change of scene. Resting properly after the meal means you can enjoy the afternoon water play right to the end.

猿江恩賜公園じゃぶじゃぶ池は、江東区の猿江恩賜公園にある無料の水遊び場です。2026年のシーズンは7/1(水)〜9/30(水)、時間は10:00〜16:00で、12:00〜13:00は運転を停止します。街の真ん中にありながら公園の緑に囲まれているため、水音と木立の陰が組み合わさって体感の涼しさが違います。池は浅く造られており、小さな子どもでも自分の足で歩けるので、親も見守りやすいのが利点です。料金は無料で、園内にはトイレもあります。更衣室とシャワーはないため、水着を下に着ていくかタオルポンチョを持参すると着替えがスムーズです。

Tips

毎週月曜と7/21(火)は休みです。台風や雨天、気温25℃未満の日は中止になることがあるので、出発前に開設状況を確認してください。12:00〜13:00は運転停止で水が出ません。更衣室・シャワーはありません。ぬれた体を拭くタオルと着替えは人数分用意しておくと帰りが快適です。

Tips

Picking up your bento and drinks around Sumiyoshi Station or Kinshicho Station before entering the park makes things go smoothly. Trash must be taken home as a rule, so bring plenty of bags. Avoid entering the water right after eating; wait 20 to 30 minutes before heading off to change. Shaded spots fill up quickly around midday, so securing one early puts you at ease.
