Sarue Onshi Park Splash Pond

The Sarue Onshi Park Splash Pond is a free water play area in Sarue Onshi Park in Koto City. The 2026 season runs from July 1 (Wed) to September 30 (Wed), from 10:00 to 16:00, with the water switched off from 12:00 to 13:00. Although it is right in the middle of the city, it is surrounded by the park's greenery, so the sound of water combined with the shade of the trees makes it feel genuinely cooler. The pond is built shallow, deep enough for even small children to walk on their own feet, which makes it easier for parents to keep watch. Admission is free and there are toilets in the park. There are no changing rooms or showers, so wearing swimwear underneath or bringing a towel poncho makes changing go smoothly.

Tips
It is closed every Monday and on July 21 (Tue). It may be cancelled during typhoons, in rainy weather, or on days when the temperature is below 25C, so check the operating status before you set out. The water is switched off from 12:00 to 13:00. There are no changing rooms or showers. Preparing towels to dry off with and a change of clothes for each person makes the trip home more comfortable.

Entering in time for the 13:05 restart lets you play plenty until the 16:00 closing
