A facility exhibiting goldfish in one corner of Mizumoto Park (水元公園). The Tokyo Metropolitan Fisheries Experiment Station once stood on this site, and the goldfish exhibit continues as a trace of it. A different variety swims in each tank, letting you compare goldfish of different shapes and colors such as wakin, ranchu and demekin. It is an outdoor exhibit so you cannot linger long, but it is perfect for setting up the flow of a day about water creatures before the water play. You can walk through the park to the Fountain Plaza.

水元公園噴水広場（水遊び場）は、葛飾区の水元公園にある無料の水遊び場です。2026年のシーズンは7/1(水)〜9/30(水)、時間は9:00〜16:00で、12:00〜13:00は噴水が休止します。水元公園は都内で唯一の水郷景観をもつ公園で、小合溜という細長い池に沿ってポプラ並木とメタセコイアの森が続く、東京とは思えない景色が広がっています。噴水広場のまわりにも木陰が多く、遊び疲れたらすぐに休める環境が整っています。料金は無料で、園内にはトイレと売店もあります。9:00から開くので、朝から遊ぶ計画にも組み替えやすい水遊び場です。

Tips

点検清掃の休止日は8/12・8/18・9/4・9/15です。12:00〜13:00は噴水が休止します。園内は非常に広いので、駐車場や入口の位置によっては噴水広場まで歩く距離が長くなります。事前に園内マップで確認してください。水辺は蚊が多いため、虫よけを用意しておくと快適です。

Tips

Opening hours and periods may be limited, so checking in advance is safest. Agree beforehand not to put hands into the tanks. Being outdoors, the sunlight is strong and it is not suited to long stays. The park is large, so checking the route to the Fountain Plaza on the park map keeps you from getting lost.
