The Otori Park Splash Pond and Stream is a free water-play area in Otori Park in Meguro City. The 2026 season runs from Wednesday, July 1 to Wednesday, September 30, from 09:00 to 16:30. Because there are two features, a splash pond and a stream, children can choose between wading in the water or walking along the running brook depending on their mood. The water is disinfected with chlorine and other treatments, which is reassuring for a park water-play area. Since this is a local park inside a Meguro residential district, it has none of the crowding of a tourist site, and the mood is of neighborhood families spending an unhurried afternoon. Admission is free.

Tips

Water-play sandals are recommended. Bare feet can lead to unexpected injuries, so be sure to bring a pair. Food and drink may not be brought into the water-play area, so hydrate outside it. Pets may not enter the water either. There is an inspection day roughly once a month when the area cannot be used, and the date and time are posted on site. Meguro City's official wording is from the first week of July until around the end of September, so if you go on the first or last day, check whether it is open. Children who are not yet out of diapers should wear swim diapers.
