You can walk along the long waterway, so it suits kids who prefer walking or scooping water by hand over jumping in. Since the water is shallow, even small children can play safely with a guardian accompanying them. Admission is free, and it's within walking distance of Tire Park too.

Since the closing date isn't officially announced by the ward (late September in past years), be sure to check in advance if you're going in September. It may not operate on rainy days or when the temperature is low. The water is filtered and disinfected but not drinkable, so prepare drinks separately. Some parts of the waterway can be slippery, so have children wear water-play sandals.

Entering at 13:45 lets you enjoy a leisurely play session right up until the 16:00 closing time.
