This is the Toiya Children's Park Wading Pool (Infant Pool) (問屋児童公園 徒渉池(幼児用プール)), open only in summer at Toiya Children's Park in Kanazawa City. In Reiwa 8 (2026), it will be open from Thursday, July 23 to Wednesday, August 5, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and admission is free. Because the wading pool is shallow, even children who are still nervous around water can get used to it by starting with just their feet. Only infants and toddlers accompanied by a guardian may use the pool; elementary school-age children and older are not permitted. Swimwear is required, and disposable diapers or swim diapers are not allowed. As it's only open for about two weeks, be sure to schedule your visit early once you decide on a date.
