This is the Motomachi No. 1 Children's Park Wading Pool (Infant Pool) (元町第1児童公園 徒渉池(幼児用プール)), open only in summer at Motomachi No. 1 Children's Park in Kanazawa City. In Reiwa 8 (2026), it will be open from Thursday, July 23 to Wednesday, August 5, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and admission is free. Because the wading pool is shallow, it's well suited to a child's first experience with water play. Only infants and toddlers accompanied by a guardian may use the pool; elementary school-age children and older are not permitted. Swimwear is required, disposable diapers or swim diapers are not permitted, and glass swim goggles and similar items may not be brought in. Since it's only open for a short time each summer, be sure to schedule your visit early once you decide on a date.

The pool is closed in the event of rain or other bad weather. Check the sky on the morning of your visit and read the on-site notices before entering the water. Since it's only open from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, plan with enough time to get out and change before 3:00 PM. Please note that children who are not yet toilet-trained cannot use the pool, as disposable diapers and swim diapers are not permitted. Glass swim goggles and similar items may not be brought in.
