This is the free water-play spot 'Sagamihara Asamizo Park Water Plaza Fountain' in Sagamihara Asamizo Park, Minami Ward, Sagamihara City. In 2026, due to drought, the originally planned April 29 opening was postponed, and it will operate from Saturday, July 18 through Wednesday, September 30. Hours run from 10:00 to 16:00. Since it's located within a spacious park, kids can move on to the animal plaza or playground equipment once they've had enough of the water, letting each child shape the day at their own pace — one of the best things about this spot. The park has restrooms, and admission is free. With the opening delayed, this is a summer to make the most of the time the water is flowing.
