This station, served by the Odakyu Line, is the central hub of Minami Ward, Sagamihara City. Commercial facilities and restaurants cluster around the station, so you can choose one that's easy to visit with children. Taking a proper break in an air-conditioned indoor space will keep everyone energized through the afternoon's water play. It's also reassuring to pick up extra towels, drinks, or sunscreen here. You can reach Asamizo Park by car or local bus, so gather anything you need before heading back to the park's parking area.

Tips

Restaurants get crowded around noon on weekends and holidays, so shifting to around 13:00 makes it easier to find seating. The fountain plaza isn't guaranteed to have a shop, so stock up on plenty of drinks and snacks here. Don't forget a bag for wet clothes, either.

About 1 hour 10 minutes. Around 13:00, past the peak crowds, is comfortable.
