About this spot

Sabae City's 'Sabae City Pool Shinsui Plaza (鯖江市民プール 親水広場)' is a newly developed water-play area created through the 2026 (Reiwa 8) renovation. Following the completion of construction work, it reopened on Friday, July 31, and is available through Monday, August 31. The regular season normally runs from July 1 to August 31. The same facility also has a 25-meter pool, a toddler pool, and a straight slide, so you can move from touching the water in the shallow Shinsui Plaza to the toddler pool and the slide, changing play areas to match your child's growth stage or mood. Admission is reasonably priced at 100 yen per visit for those aged 3 through high-school students, and 200 yen per visit for adults, making it easy to come back again and again. As a city pool, it's equipped with changing rooms and showers, which families will appreciate for getting ready after playing.
