Imoyama Park Pool is a summer municipal pool in Imoyama Park (イモ山公園), Ikoma City, Nara Prefecture, open from Monday, July 20 to Monday, August 31 in 2026. Located among the trees of the park, it's a relief to have shade to rest in after getting out of the water. Changing lockers are fully available, so you won't have any trouble finding a place for your belongings. It has the feel of a neighborhood pool where local children gather, so it doesn't get too crowded and you can spend time there at ease. There's no better place to cool down a body that's climbed the stone steps of Hozan-ji Temple in the morning.
