Kibogaoka Children's Pool (希望ケ丘児童プール) in Miyazaki City is open in 2026 only in the morning, from 10:00 to 12:00, from Thursday, July 23 to Monday, August 24 (closed Wednesdays and August 13-15). It's a 10m x 20m children's pool with two depths, 30cm and 50cm. Both are shallow enough for small children to stand and play on their own feet, making it well suited as a pool debut for kids not yet used to the water. Admission is free, which is this facility's biggest draw as a place to drop in casually. Since it's open for only two hours, the smart way to use it is to get in right when it opens and play the whole time. Being able to rest in the afternoon and avoid the peak heat is, if anything, a convenient timing for families with small children.
