Aoki Children's Pool in Miyazaki City, Miyazaki Prefecture, is an outdoor children's pool measuring 10m by 20m with water depths of 30cm and 50cm. In 2026 it is open from Thursday, July 23 to Monday, August 24, with opening hours limited to the morning, from 10:00 to 12:00. It is closed on Wednesdays and from August 13 to 15, and admission is free. The shallow depth lets small children stand firmly on their own feet, giving reassurance even to those still wary of the water. The two depth levels, 30cm and 50cm, are also well designed, letting kids expand their challenges as they grow, moving on to 'the next one' step by step. Because opening hours are a short two hours, families can play intensively and wrap up before anyone gets too tired, which actually works well for young children.
