Atoe Children's Pool is an outdoor pool for children that Miyazaki City opens during the summer. In 2026 it is open from Thursday, July 23 to Monday, August 24, only in the morning from 10:00 to 12:00; it is closed on Wednesdays and remains open during the Obon period. The pool measures 10m by 20m, with two depth levels of 30cm and 50cm. Both depths let small children stand on their own feet, so it's safe even for children experiencing a pool for the first time. Admission is free. Parking is available for 24 vehicles (including 3 spaces for the disabled), so you can get in quickly even by car. It's a place where neighborhood children gather, offering a scene distinctly typical of a local summer.

Since it's open for only two hours in the morning, arriving in time for the 10 a.m. opening lets you play to your heart's content. It's closed on Wednesdays, so be sure to check the day of the week. Parking is limited to 24 spaces, so arriving early is reassuring on busy days. Please follow Miyazaki City's guidance regarding supervision and usage rules. Shade is limited, so prepare towels and hats for breaks.

Best time to visit

Entering right when it opens at 10 lets you play for a full two hours. Afterward, changing and heading to lunch is the recommended flow
