A roadside station along National Route 41 in Katakake, Toyama City. Located along the highway connecting Hida and Toyama, it has long been a beloved rest stop for drivers. It has a sales area lined with local produce and processed goods, where you can find items unique to this mountain valley area. There's also a dining facility, making it a convenient spot to fuel up before hitting the pool. Since Inotani Pool's break time runs from 12:00 to 13:00, spending that time here lets you move smoothly into the afternoon. The scenery along the Jinzu River is pleasant too, making the drive itself enjoyable along this stretch.

Tips

Check the official information for business hours and regular closing days. There are few shops in the area, so it's reassuring to buy drinks and snacks here. National Route 41 sees a lot of large-vehicle traffic, so be careful entering and exiting the parking lot. Fresh items you buy will keep better if placed in an insulated bag, or if you plan to stop by again on the way back.
