Next stop: Lunch and a break at a hot spring in the Iwami mountainsAbout this spot
A horseback riding facility located in Kinjo-cho, Hamada City. Just seeing horses roaming a green meadow gives you a real sense of having arrived in a mountain town. Young children can start with a led-horse ride, where a staff member holds the reins, and will be surprised by the height of the horse's back and the warmth that comes through the moment they sit down. It's a chance to interact directly with a living animal, unlike watching one through glass at a zoo. Even just watching without riding, the sound of horses grazing and the swish of their tails are worth seeing. It's also a good stop to get some exercise before heading to the pool.
Tips
Please check the operating days, reception hours, and experience fees and courses in advance. Horseback riding experiences may require reservations. Wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty and shoes with heels; sandals may not be allowed for riding. If you have animal allergies, please check in advance. Insect repellent is recommended, as there are many bugs.
Best time to visit
About 1 hour 10 minutes. Mornings, before the temperature rises, are the most comfortable time for both horses and visitors.
