Tsuwano Nichihara Pool (津和野町日原プール), located in the Nichihara district of Tsuwano Town, Kanoashi District, is open in 2026 during the period set by municipal ordinance, from Monday, July 20 to Monday, August 31. This water-rich land, through which the Takatsu River flows, becomes a summer playground where local children gather during summer vacation. Surrounded by mountains, the air here feels cooler than in urban areas even in midsummer - a welcome bonus. It doesn't have the large-scale facilities of a resort leisure pool, but that makes it all the more relaxed, letting you enjoy the water at your own pace.
