The Innoshima Amenity Pool (因島アメニティプール) is an outdoor pool on Innoshima in Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture. In 2026 it is open from Saturday, July 18 to Sunday, August 23. In addition to two types of slides, a water slide and a ramp slide, it also features a rubber play equipment zone, fountains, and a toddler pool, offering a level of variety that feels surprisingly rich for an island pool. Younger children can enjoy the fountains and rubber play equipment while older children take on the slides, so every member of the family can find their own way to play. The changing rooms have 270 lockers, and rented tents and vending machines are also available, making it comfortable to spend a long stretch of time here. And with Shimanami Beach (しまなみビーチ) stretching out right in front of the pool, you can play in the water while gazing at the Seto Inland Sea, a luxury unique to this island.

Tips

Admission is 500 yen for adults, 400 yen for junior/senior high school students, 300 yen for elementary school students, and free for preschoolers; people with disabilities and their caregivers are admitted free, and groups of 15 or more receive a 10% discount. Entry after 3 p.m. comes with a 20% discount, so visiting only in the late afternoon can be a good value. The pool closes when a weather warning is issued, so on days with unstable weather, check Onomichi City's official page for the opening status before you set out. Slides may have height or age restrictions, so check the on-site signage. Some coin-operated lockers may require small change.

Best time to visit

Entering at 12:45 p.m. gives you a full 3 hours and 45 minutes until evening. After 3 p.m., admission is 20% off and slide wait times are also shorter
