Tabusa-no-Sato Sports Park (田総の里スポーツ公園)

Flow of the course

About this spot

A green, spacious sports park stretching along the Tabusa River in Soryo Town, Shobara City. It has a ground golf course certified by the Japan Ground Golf Association, a covered gateball court, and a multi-purpose natural-grass field. Though primarily built for competitive sports, the wide grassy expanse itself makes a great playground for kids. Surrounded by open satoyama scenery, it's a place where children can run around freely. It also doubles as a venue for local events, making it one of the hubs of daily life in Soryo Town. A light bit of exercise here is good preparation before the afternoon at the pool.

Tips

The ground may be in use on tournament or event days, so it's worth checking in advance if you plan to use it. Shade is limited, so bring a hat and something to drink. There's no shop on-site, so it's a good idea to prepare lunch beforehand, for example at the roadside station.

Best time to visit

About 1 hour. During periods of strong sunlight, seek out shady spots and keep your visit on the shorter side.
