Seiyo City Uwa Pool (西予市宇和プール) is a summer-only outdoor municipal pool located at Uwa Sports Park (宇和運動公園). For 2026, it is open from July 21 to August 15, from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The 50-meter main pool is just the right length for practicing swimming, and there's also a smaller pool for young children, so siblings of different ages can each play at a depth suited to them. Admission is affordable at 120 yen for adults and high school students, 70 yen for junior high school students, and 50 yen for elementary school children and younger, per 2 hours, and it's even better value with an 11-ticket discount booklet. Since Uwa is a basin surrounded by mountains, a cool breeze comes in by evening, making it pleasant once you get out of the water.
