Arao Citizens' Pool is a municipal outdoor pool open from July 18 to August 16, 2026. What stands out is the sheer variety of pools: a 50-meter certified pool, a 25-meter pool, a relaxation pool, a children's pool, and a pool for young children, giving you options suited to your purpose and age. There's also a water slide. It's remarkable that all these facilities are available for just 210 yen for adults, 150 yen for high school students, and 100 yen for children age 3 and up. A major strength of this pool is that even if your family spans a wide range of ages, everyone can spend time in the spot they like and regroup from time to time.

Tips

The upper section of the water slide is out of service due to a malfunction. The lower section is available, but conditions may change, so check the posted notices once you arrive. Exceeding the usage time adds a 50-yen charge per 30 minutes. Groups of 50 or more get a 10% discount. The pool closes temporarily if a weather warning is issued, so check Arao City's official announcements for the day's opening status before you go.

Best time to visit

If you enter in the early afternoon, you can spend about 3 hours hopping between the various pools until evening.
