Yatsushiro City Kagami Pool is an outdoor pool within Kagami General Athletic Ground in Yatsushiro City, open in 2026 from Monday, July 20 to Monday, August 31 (closed from September 1 through July 19 of the following year). The water area is split in two: a 25m x 15m, 7-lane pool with a depth of 0.9-1.1m, and a toddler pool with a slide, with a depth of 0.3-0.6m. Older kids can focus on swimming practice in the lanes, while little ones can play and cheer on the slide, so siblings of different ages can each enjoy themselves. The pool is FRP-made, giving the water a bright, pleasant look. Admission is affordable at 100 yen for adults and 50 yen for toddlers and elementary through high school students, with group rates also available: 830 yen per hour for adults and 410 yen per hour for toddlers and elementary through high school students.

Entering at 12:45 gives you about 3 hours 15 minutes until evening. After 15:00, the sunlight softens, making it easier to swim.
