About this spot

Tsushima City Kamiagata General Sports Park Pool (対馬市上県総合運動公園プール) is an outdoor pool at Kamiagata General Sports Park in Tsushima City, Nagasaki Prefecture. In 2026 it's open from 10am to 5pm, from Tuesday, July 21 to Sunday, August 30. It's closed every Monday and Friday, plus August 15. It's one of the pool facilities open to the public in Tsushima City, an important summer-vacation spot for the island's children. It doesn't have the facilities of a large leisure complex, but that means fewer crowds, and the ability to spend time at your own pace is one of the charms of an island pool. The air on Tsushima, surrounded by deep forest, feels different from the mainland somehow, and the texture of the breeze that blows through as you step out of the water leaves an impression. For travelers, it can also be a precious chance to experience the island's everyday life.

Season & hours

Tips

It is closed every Monday and Friday, plus August 15. Since there are many closed days, be sure to check Tsushima City's official page for open days and hours before you set out. Admission is 200 yen per visit for adults (high school age and up; 300 yen for those outside the city) and 100 yen per visit for junior high school age and under (150 yen for those outside the city), note that the higher out-of-city rate applies. Wearing a swim cap is generally required at public pools. Since published information about the facilities is limited, check on-site signage for whether items like floats are allowed. Shade is limited, so bring a rash guard and sunscreen.

Best time to visit

Entering at 12:50 gives you nearly 4 hours until closing. It gets much more comfortable after 3pm as the sunlight softens.
