About this spot

This roadside station is located in an area that still retains the atmosphere of a former post town on the old Inaba Kaido (因幡街道), and it offers fresh vegetables, local specialties, and souvenirs from Sayo-cho. With a rest area and restrooms available, it's a good spot to catch your breath after touring the sunflower field and insect museum. It's also convenient for picking up drinks and snacks ahead of the evening's fireworks.

Tips

About 10 minutes by car from the Sayo-cho Insect Museum. It can get crowded with tourists in summer, so taking a restroom break early is reassuring.

About 45 minutes. It's relatively quiet later in the afternoon
