Ogunohara Park - Harappa Plaza (Meadow Plaza) (尾久の原公園 原っぱ広場)

Flow of the course

About this spot

Ogunohara Park is a spacious park developed on a former factory site, with a lawn area, meadow, and clover plaza spreading across the grounds. It's a good spot to spread out a picnic sheet and eat a bento, making it convenient as a lunch spot before water play at the Splash Pond. The park's pond and wetlands are known as a habitat for dragonflies, and you can observe various dragonflies from spring through autumn. About 200 weeping cherry trees are planted here, making for a magnificent display of cherry blossoms in spring too. There's plenty of space to run around freely, so you can get active before and after water play.

Tips

In summer, having a hat and sun protection ready is reassuring. It's within walking distance of Toden Arakawa Line's Kumanomae Station (熊野前駅).
